Preserving Twilight: It pretty much occupies half of my thoughts every day. The other half are consumed by thoughts of the next book! ;D Obviously, the preservation of the story means a lot to me- I created a site devoted entirely to that message! I never imagined that so many people would be so gung-ho about it, and I certainly never expected to have so many people volunteer to help. My greatest hope is that our mission will inspire the actors of the film and encourage the writers to stay true to the original story.

Preserving Twilight: Since Twilight is my sole obsession [Besides Steven Strait] I have been trying to direct my obsessive energy into something useful. Well I guess I've found it. I've seen a lot of movies made from books that have not completely captured the story quite right. I know that can sometimes be hard to do, but this book seems to have caught so many people's attention that I think it's important not to ruin it. I also think that it's very important to Stephenie Meyer that this movie turns out well, she really deserves it.

Preserving Twilight: Ever since I heard that the books were going to be made into films, I've been worried about how it was going to turn out. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I'm not a fan of the movies at all, and I didn't want the Twilight movies to turn out as awful as I think those films have. I want the story to stay as it is simply because it's a good story; it's the reason that I fell in love with the series, and if that's changed in the movie, it's just not going to be the same. When I heard about Stay Twilight, I was ecstatic; I think that we'll definitely encourage the writers and actors to stay true to the books.

Preserving Twilight: Of course I loved Twilight the first time I read it, and I know so many people have too. It would really be a shame if they weren't true to the story. No matter who they cast, I just really hope for them to be believable and for the movie to be as close to the original as possible. It wouldn't be right to the fans or to Stephanie Meyer if the movie didn't stay true to the books.
